By accessing or using OralAI at oralai.site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
These terms apply to all users including patients, dental professionals, students, and anyone accessing the platform for demo or testing purposes.
Description of Service
OralAI provides an AI-powered oral health screening service that includes:
- Guided capture of 4 images — 1 face photo followed by 3 dental images (upper, front, lower teeth)
- YOLOv8-based detection of possible dental conditions from the submitted dental images
- AI-generated written analysis in multiple Indian and global languages
- Downloadable PDF screening reports
- Optional report delivery via WhatsApp or email
OralAI is developed as a final year academic project by students of Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Andhra Pradesh, India, under the guidance of Dr. Bomma Rama Krishna (HOD – AIDS & AIML).
Medical Disclaimer
OralAI's screening outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. Specifically:
- OralAI does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, or professional dental opinions
- AI detection results (e.g., caries, stains, malalignment) are probabilistic estimates, not confirmed diagnoses
- OralAI reports should never be used as the sole basis for any health-related decision
- OralAI makes no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any clinical purpose
User Responsibilities
When using OralAI, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal information (name, age, contact details)
- Submit only genuine images — a clear face photo followed by actual dental images; not random objects, other body parts, or third parties without consent
- Use the service for personal health screening or legitimate dental clinic pre-screening only
- Not attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or deceive the AI detection system
- Keep your screening report for personal use and not distribute it as a medical certificate
Age & Minors Policy
OralAI may be used to screen individuals under the age of 18 ("minors") subject to the following conditions:
- A parent or legal guardian must provide explicit written or verified consent before submitting any images or personal data of a minor
- The parent or guardian must be present during the screening session for minors under 13
- By submitting data for a minor, you confirm you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility for the screening
- OralAI does not knowingly collect or process data from minors without parental consent — if we discover this has occurred, we will delete the data within 48 hours
- Minors aged 13–17 may use the service independently only with documented parental consent on file
Prohibited Uses
You must not use OralAI to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our AI models, detection pipeline, or report templates
- Submit automated or bulk screening requests via bots, scripts, or scraping tools
- Upload offensive, obscene, illegal, or non-dental image content
- Impersonate another person or provide false patient information
